Microsoft this week issued a patch for Office for Mac 2011 Service Pack 2 (SP2), which was causing problems for a select group of users on Outlook. The fix, known as 14.2.1, “fixes a number of issues, including the Outlook for Mac database issue,” Microsoft said in a blog post.
Earlier this month, Microsoft removed Office for Mac SP2 from its automatic update cycle after some users “experienced issues related to corrupted databases.”
